Jason Kreis called out his players in the post game press conference for not wanting to be part of NYCFC. While it’s unclear exactly who he meant, speculations are abundant.  Mike and Jon discuss that point and recap the game against Columbus that cost NYCFC 3 points at home.  Then they close out the show answering your questions.

Mike and Jon are joined by Martin Bihl of Last Word on Sports.  Mike and Martin first met covering the US Open Cup game between NYCFC and the Cosmos.  Martin took the co-pilot’s seat in June while Mike was out of town.  Together the three discuss the upcoming game against Columbus and then they dive into the Blue City Radio mailbag to answer your questions.

Walking into the NYCFC locker room following the 3-1 victory over DC United, there was a simple message on the team’s white board, “Our backs are against the wall.  Are you ready to fight?”

This week’s episode looks back at the incredible response from NYCFC after falling to Red Bull.  We review the top notch performance by Poku and recap the whole game.
