MLS Playoffs Return, JR DiBart Stops By, and Eirik Says Ha Det / Ep 145 / Blue City Radio

This week Mike and Jon welcome JR Dibart to the show.  JR brings his radio experience and knowledge and insight on NYCFC to the show.

The guys break down the MLS Conference Finals leg one matches which were not without drama. They also discuss the NYCFC news and start to look ahead at 2018.

A Bad Week Saved By Jason Davis / Ep 141 / Blue City Radio

Let’s face it.  It was a miserable week all around.  The USMNT failed to qualify for Russia 2018.  NYCFC suffered a poorly timed loss in Gilette Stadium.

Luckily, Mike and Jon have guest Jason Davis from Sirius XM on the show to discuss the US Soccer conundrum and a little NYCFC.

There’s Still MLS / Ep 140 / Blue City Radio

Episode 140:

This will be one of the most dated episodes ever done.  Typically recording on Monday and then posting on Wednesday isn’t that much of an issue.  But when the USMNT gets eliminated from the World Cup on Tuesday, it’s tough to sound relevant if you’re not talking about their failure.

Mike and Jon do discuss the “more official” announcement from Andrea Pirlo about his retirement from soccer in December. They also discuss the US win over Panama  and the US U17’s strong showing in India.

The second segment gives a snapshot into the New England Revolution and how the team looks after the firing of Jay Heaps as Alex Almeida from Six States One Pod joins the show.
